How selection works

  1. 1

Your profile, in a few minutes

Your name, country, languages and niches, your TikTok/Instagram links, your 2–3 best videos, and five written questions (availability, gear, experience, how you handle a revision request, why ASLI). The team reads every answer.

  2. 2

    Application review

The ASLI team reviews your application and answers by email. We do not announce a delay: we do not promise what we cannot guarantee.

  3. 3

    The test brief (72 h)

A real, short brief about ASLI: 30 to 45 seconds, vertical, in your language, with your first name and “ASLI” on camera. Unpaid, but with guaranteed written feedback whatever the decision. It shows three things: following instructions, meeting a deadline, taking feedback.

  4. 4

    Your accent, heard and verified

A short voice sample per language, listened to by the team. A “verified accent” badge is shown to brands — it is what makes it possible to pick you for an Algerian darija brief rather than a Moroccan one.

  5. 5

    Briefs, then pay

You apply to the briefs that suit you, shoot within 7 days of receiving the product or access, deliver, get approved, get paid. Until your first approved video you are in a trial period: one brief at a time — then everything opens.

What you earn

A fixed fee per approved video, shown on every brief before you apply. On self-serve campaigns, you receive 55% to 65% of the video price depending on your tier, which rises with approved videos and brand ratings; on managed offers the share differs, and the exact amount is shown on each brief. Paid within 7 to 10 working days after approval, through the channel for your country (euro transfer, Wise, SEPA).

You do not need a large audience: the brand publishes the video on its own accounts. What matters: content quality, an authentic accent, reliability.

Got an audience? The ASLI Talents path

Two separate paths. UGC: the brand publishes and sponsors your video, your followers do not matter, and you enter through the test brief. ASLI Talents: the brand pays you to post on your own account, for your audience, and you set your price — ASLI takes nothing from it, its fee is charged to the brand.

You do not declare yourself a Talent: you connect your TikTok, Instagram (professional) or YouTube account from your profile, we read your follower count, and above the threshold you request the status. The team checks your audience and content at that moment, with no test brief. Talent status does not open UGC briefs: for those, the test brief remains the rule.

What we look for

  • 9 languages and registers

Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian darija, Tamazight, white dialect, Khaleeji, Standard Arabic, French, English (alongside a Maghreb language). The way you speak every day — “average Arabic” is not a language.

  • 16 countries open

The Maghreb, Canada and the diaspora in Europe. Of legal age in your country of residence.

  • Reliability before talent

A brief followed, a deadline met, feedback accepted. That is what the test brief checks, and what brands rate after every video.

  • Everything goes through the platform

Brands never see your full name or your social networks: they see your first name and your card (photo, languages, rating, approved videos). Direct contact outside the platform is forbidden — to protect you and everyone else.

On your own / with ASLI

  • On your own
  • Messaging brands that never answer
  • Negotiating every price
  • Paid late — or not at all
  • A vague brief, endless revisions
  • Asked for thousands of followers
  • With ASLI
  • Briefs come to you, in your language
  • A fixed fee shown before you apply
  • Paid within 7 to 10 working days after approval
  • A clear brief, limited and announced revisions
  • Selected on content, not follower count

Creator FAQ

Do I need many followers?

No. The brand publishes the video on its own accounts. We select on content quality, accent and reliability. Followers are one criterion among others, never a condition.

Is the test brief paid?

No. It is short (30–45 s) with a 72-hour deadline, and in return you get written feedback from the team whatever the decision. The video stays yours; with a separate, optional checkbox you can allow ASLI to reuse it for its own promotion — this has no effect on the decision.

When am I paid?

Within 7 to 10 working days after the brand approves the video, through your country’s channel. What is approved is paid, whatever happens next.

Can I turn down a brief?

Yes. You only apply to the briefs you want. Once accepted, you can withdraw from your space — the earlier the better.

Can I use AI?

To prepare your script, yes. But the video is you: your face and your voice, filmed by you or under your direction. No avatar, face or voice generated, cloned or replaced by AI — even if declared. A video that contains one is refused without payment (articles 10 and 12 of the Terms). Editing tools (cutting, subtitles, colour grading, noise reduction) remain allowed.

Who owns the video?

Copyright on the video is assigned to the brand; your image and voice are licensed for listed uses (ads, the brand’s accounts, its website…) for a limited time, with no AI training and no political, religious or adult use. Details in the Terms.

Do I post the video on my account?

By default, no: the brand receives and publishes it. Some briefs ask you to post it too, on TikTok (Spark Ads code) and/or Instagram (partnership ads); you see it before you apply. You are then paid extra per video and per platform; the amount is shown on the brief.

What is the trial period?

Until your first approved video: one brief at a time. After that everything opens, and your tier rises with approved videos and ratings.
