Terms of Service

This document governs the use of the ASLI platform by brands and by creators. It is written to be read: short sentences, no circular cross-references, and a highlighted box wherever a rule costs someone money.

Who operates ASLI. ASLI is operated by DAR ASLI, a French simplified joint-stock company with a single shareholder (SASU) with a share capital of 1 000 €, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 131 304 404, whose registered office is at 8 bis rue Abel, 75012 Paris. Details are given in the legal notice.

1. Purpose and parties

ASLI is a platform that connects brands looking for user-generated content (UGC) videos with creators who produce them, mainly in the Maghreb and among the diaspora.

The relationship is tripartite, and this must be stated clearly, because everything else follows from it: the brand contracts with ASLI, the creator contracts with ASLI, and the brand and the creator do not contract directly with each other. ASLI collects, sets the framework, arbitrates and pays out.

Anyone who creates an account accepts these terms. If there is any part of them you do not accept, do not use the platform — there is no partial version.

2. What ASLI is not

ASLI is neither an employer, nor a modelling agency, nor a producer. The creator acts as an independent contractor: they choose their briefs, organise their work, use their own equipment and remain responsible for their tax and social security obligations in their country of residence.

No provision of these terms creates a relationship of subordination. The platform sets a framework — deadlines, format, expected quality — as any client does, not as an employer.

3. Registration and account

Registration requires being of legal age under the law of one’s country of residence and having the legal capacity to enter into contracts. This threshold is 18 years in most countries where ASLI operates, but not in all of them:

  • Algeria: 19 years
  • Canada: 19 years

This is not a mere formality. A creator who is a minor under their personal law cannot validly assign their rights or authorise the use of their image: the act would be voidable, retroactively, and the brand would lose the right to use a video it has paid for. Requiring the age set by the country, rather than a single convenient age, protects all three parties.

A brand account binds the company it represents; the person who opens it declares that they have the authority to do so.

The creator certifies that they are of legal age by means of a dated declaration made when creating their profile, and this declaration states the age required in the country they have indicated. The payment details they provide must be in the same name as their profile: this match is checked before the first payment, and ASLI may request proof of identity in case of doubt — and only in that case.

The information provided must be accurate and kept up to date. One account per person or per company: multiple accounts are almost always used to circumvent a sanction, and are treated as such.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately at contact@asliugc.com in the event of unauthorised use.

Linked social accounts (optional). A creator may link their TikTok account, professional Instagram account or YouTube channel from their profile, to prove they own it and to show the size of their audience. ASLI reads this information once, keeps no access to the account and never posts on the creator’s behalf. By linking their YouTube channel, the creator agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google processes their data under its Privacy Policy.

“ASLI Talent” status. It cannot be self-declared: the creator requests it when a linked account, read within the last 30 days, reaches the follower threshold shown on their profile, and the ASLI team decides after checking (genuine audience, content suitable for brands). It does not replace the test brief, which remains the entry to UGC campaigns. A post for a Talent’s audience is covered by a separate written contract between the brand and the creator. Switching to the Talent path is final: a Talent does not go back to UGC campaigns.

Activity check. By linking an account, the creator agrees that ASLI also reads, once, the date and public figures of their latest posts (views, likes, comments), without their content, to check that the account is active and that its audience is genuine. These figures help the team; they do not decide in its place. Before any contract, a brand sees a Talent’s first name and the initial of their last name, their country, the platform, and their followers and median views rounded — never their handle or a link to their account.

3 bis. Creator selection: test brief and trial period

Registering as a creator does not mean being admitted. Before being able to apply to a brief, every creator goes through a selection by the ASLI team, which includes written answers to a few questions at sign-up, then a test brief: a short video,30 to 45 seconds long, in which the creator appears, introduces themselves and presents ASLI the way they would present a product, to be delivered within 72 hours of the test brief being sent.

The test brief is not paid: it is neither an order nor a service. Every creator receives written feedback from the team, whatever the decision. A late delivery does not mean automatic rejection; it is taken into account in the decision, which remains a human one. The admission decision is discretionary and need not be justified beyond that feedback.

Reuse of the test video. When delivering their test brief, the creator may, through a separate checkbox that is unticked by default, allow ASLI to publish that video to present the platform — its website, its social networks, its presentation material for brands — with their first name. This permission is optional, has no effect on the admission decision, and can be withdrawn at any time from the creator’s profile or by simply emailing contact@asliugc.com: ASLI then stops any new use within 30 days. Without this permission, the test video is seen only by the ASLI team and, once the creator is admitted, by brands viewing their card, as an introduction video.

Trial period. An admitted creator is on trial until their first approved video on the platform. During that period they may have only one commitment at a time: an application awaiting a decision or a brief in production blocks any new application. This limit lifts by itself at the first approval.

4. Campaigns: ordering, price and payment

The brand publishes a brief: product, format, duration, languages, number of videos expected, delivery deadline and price per video. The brief becomes a campaign once it has been validated and paid for.

Prices are stated in euros, excluding VAT; the applicable VAT depends on the brand’s billing country. The campaign is paid in advance: this is what makes it possible to guarantee the creator that they will be paid, and it is also what makes Articles 8 and 9 below necessary.

Three ways to pay for a campaign. The brand chooses when ordering; the method chosen is that of the campaign.

(a) The pack, paid once. This is the default method for self-service offers. The pack — a number of videos for a fixed price, excluding VAT, shown in the Pricing section of the home page — is settled in a single payment. There is no renewal, no subsequent direct debit and no termination: there is nothing to terminate, since nothing renews. To start again, the brand duplicates its campaign from the campaign page — the brief is pre-filled — and orders a new pack.

(b) The optional monthly subscription. A brand that wants videos every month may choose to renew the same pack each month, with a 10% discount on the pack price from the second month onwards: the first month is invoiced at the pack price, subsequent months at the discounted price. This discount comes out of ASLI’s margin and not out of the creator’s share, which continues to be calculated on the pack price before discount (Article 7). The subscription has no minimum term. Each renewal collected reopens a quota: a new campaign is created automatically, reusing the previous month’s brief, with a number of videos equal to the offer’s quota — the brand may then modify or cancel it like any other campaign. A campaign whose quota has been reached is marked “completed”, but the subscription continues until it is terminated.

Pause and termination, in one click (monthly subscription). Both are done from the campaign page, in the brand area, without going through support. A pause takes effect immediately: the campaign no longer accepts new creators, and no payment is taken at the next renewal for as long as the pause lasts; the brand keeps its account, its history and the creators already engaged, who complete their videos — delivery and approval deadlines are not suspended — and it may resume whenever it wishes. Termination takes effect at the end of the current monthly period: the month already begun remains payable and its quota remains usable; no further renewal is invoiced.

(c) Bank transfer, on quote, for managed offers. Managed offers (Signature, Custom) cannot be ordered online: they are drawn up on quote after an initial discussion with the team, then paid by bank transfer. They are monthly and carry a minimum commitment period: 3 months for Signature, 6 months for Custom. A termination requested during this period takes effect at its end; a pause does not shorten it. The brand writes to contact@asliugc.com and receives the bank transfer instructions within 48 business hours, and the campaign opens to applications upon receipt of the funds, never before. Where the campaign is paid by bank transfer, without an online subscription, the pause and termination described above are exercised using the same buttons: they record the request, which is processed within 48 business hours; invoicing then follows the period already paid.

Revoked payment. A payment that is returned or disputed after collection — returned bank transfer or direct debit, chargeback, stop on payment — does not extinguish the debt: the price remains due, immediately payable, plus the rejection fees charged to ASLI, the fixed recovery indemnity of €40 and the late-payment penalties provided for in Article L. 441-10 of the French Commercial Code. Above all: since the assignment of rights under Article 11 is conditional upon actual payment, revocation immediately suspends all rights to exploit the videos concerned — their distribution, in particular for advertising, becomes an infringement until the situation is regularised. The account’s ongoing campaigns are suspended and the creators already engaged continue to be paid by ASLI.

Each campaign has a number of places equal to the number of videos ordered. A place taken by an accepted creator is no longer offered to others.

5. Application, acceptance, commitment

An admitted creator (Article 3 bis) applies to a brief. The brand accepts or rejects the application. A rejected application binds no one.

Acceptance creates the commitment: it reserves a place, starts the delivery deadline set in the brief — whose starting point is the one set out in Article 5 — and makes the video due. This is the moment when obligations arise on both sides.

The delivery deadline has three possible starting points, and only one applies to a given campaign. The principle is always the same: the clock starts when the creator actually has what they need to shoot.

  • The brand sends a physical product — the deadline runs from receipt of the product, as declared by the creator from their area. The creator provides their address upon acceptance via the campaign messaging; the brand ships without delay and shares the tracking number in the same place.
  • The brand provides digital items essential for the shoot — access, code, licence, demo account, brand kit: the deadline runs from receipt of these items, declared in the same way.
  • There is nothing to receive — the deadline runs from acceptance of the application.

Where a campaign falls under both of the first two cases, the deadline runs from the later of the two receipts: a creator who has the parcel but not the access code still does not have what they need to shoot. Each declaration of receipt is single and final, and the brand can see its date.

6. Delivery, revisions and approval

The creator submits their video from their area, within the stated deadline. The brand then has three options: approve, request a reasoned revision, or report a failure to follow the brief.

Revision requests must be precise and linked to the brief. A revision that adds a requirement absent from the original brief is not a revision: it is a new order, and it is paid for as such.

The number of revisions included depends on the offer subscribed to; it is shown in the Pricing section of the home page, fixed when the campaign is created and displayed next to each submitted video. Once this number is reached, the brand keeps all its other options — approving, or reporting a failure to follow the brief, which remains free and unlimited — but any further correction becomes a service to be ordered. This limit is not a restriction for convenience: the creator’s remuneration is fixed per video, and an unlimited number of retakes would mean unlimited work at a constant price. Campaigns created before this count was introduced carry no limit, and none is applied to them retroactively.

Approval constitutes acceptance of delivery. It triggers the creator’s remuneration and the assignment of rights described in Article 11.

Keeping the file. The approved video can be downloaded by the brand from its campaign, in its original format, as soon as it is approved. ASLI keeps the file on the platform for 12 months from approval; after that, ASLI deletes it from its servers and says so on the deliverable’s page. This deletion does not change the assignment of rights in Article 11 or the assignment contract in any way — both are kept without time limit: it is up to the brand to have downloaded and saved the file within that period.

7. Creator remuneration

On a self-service campaign, the creator receives 55% to 65% depending on the tier reached of the price of the video in the pack purchased by the brand, before any subscription discount (Article 4). The balance remunerates the platform: secure payment, sourcing, arbitration, support, hosting and international transfers.

The tier rises with the number of approved videos and stabilises with the average rating received. A tier once reached is never taken away. The exact progression conditions are shown in the creator area.

Managed offers (Signature, Custom). On these campaigns, managed directly by the platform (strategy, account management, dedicated follow-up), the creator’s share is that of the offer, plus a tier bonus: +2 points (Certified), +4 points (Premium), +6 points (Ambassador). That is 50 to 56% on Signature and 54 to 60% on Custom. As the price per video is significantly higher there, the amount paid per video remains higher than for a self-service campaign at the same tier — the exact amount, in euros, is shown on each brief before application, and that is the amount paid.

Payment is made after approval of the video, using the payment method provided by the creator, strictly according to country: Algeria, transfer in euros to a foreign-currency account (CCP and BaridiMob accepted from 1 September 2027); Morocco and Tunisia, Wise in Moroccan dirhams / Tunisian dinars; Canada, Wise in Canadian dollars (using institution, transit and account numbers — there is no IBAN in Canada); European diaspora, SEPA bank transfer in euros. Local banking delays are added to ours and are beyond our control.

8. Exit routes: withdrawal and revocation

A commitment must be able to end other than by a delivery. Without an exit, a creator who disappears blocks, indefinitely, a place the brand has already paid for. These two exits are the only ones, and they are not symmetrical.

The creator may withdraw at any time, before the deadline as well as after, by giving a reason. We wanted this to be simple and, in principle, penalty-free: a creator forced to stay does not deliver better, they deliver late or not at all. What we want is for them to say so early. Repeated or late withdrawals are, however, taken into account in the creator’s score and may limit their access to briefs.

The brand may revoke a creator only after the delivery deadline set in the brief, and not before. Revoking before the deadline would amount to going back on one’s word while the other party is working.

In both cases, the place is immediately released and offered to creators again, the corresponding video is cancelled, and any pending payment on that place is cancelled.

9. Replacement, then credit note

When a place is released on a campaign that has already been paid for, ASLI has 14 days to find a replacement. This is the solution we look for first: the brand ordered videos, not a refund.

If no replacement has been found by the deadline, the brand automatically receives a credit note for the amount of the unfulfilled place, usable on a subsequent campaign and valid for 12 months. Credit notes are visible in the brand area, together with their origin.

There is no cash refund, except in two cases: where the law requires it, and where ASLI ends a campaign of its own accord. We would rather write this than let you discover it: it is the most important point of this article.

A campaign that remains without any engaged creator may be stopped at the brand’s request, with a credit note issued for the unused amount.

10. Prohibited content

The following are refused, and result in rejection of the video without remuneration: content that is infringing, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory or sexual in nature, that features minors without the authorisation of their legal representatives, that promotes illegal products, or that is entirely generated by artificial intelligence without this having been declared.

Also refused are videos that are manifestly outside the brief, videos already delivered to another advertiser, and unsubstantiated health, medical or financial claims.

No AI-generated faces or voices. ASLI sells videos shot by real people. Any video in which a face or a voice has been generated, cloned or replaced by artificial intelligence — avatar, synthetic face or face swap, synthetic or cloned voice, artificial lip-sync — is refused without remuneration, even if declared. Editing tools — cutting, subtitles, colour grading, noise reduction — remain allowed as long as they neither create nor replace a face or a voice.

This control is human: ASLI has no tool that automatically detects these techniques. The rule rests on the creator’s warranty (article 12) and on the brand, which watches each video before approving it and can report a breach, examined by the ASLI team.

10 bis. Rules of conduct between users

Article 10 governs videos. This article governs people — because a platform where two strangers exchange messages needs both, and a sanction imposed on a ground absent from the contract cannot be defended.

The following are prohibited, in messages as well as in delivered content:

  • harassment, insults, intimidation;
  • unsolicited sexual remarks or content;
  • hateful or discriminatory remarks, in particular on the grounds of origin, sex, sexual orientation, religion or disability;
  • threats and incitement to violence;
  • identity theft and fake accounts;
  • fraud, and any request for payment outside the platform;
  • spam and repeated solicitation after a request to stop.

Report. A “Report” button is present on every profile, every message and every delivered video. Reports are confidential: the person concerned is not informed. We undertake to review them within 24 hours.

Block. Independently of any report, you may block another user at any time. The effect is immediate and mutual. Blocking does not dissolve a campaign that has already been accepted — for that, use the withdrawal in Article 8: blocking cuts off contact, it does not cancel a commitment.

Possible outcomes. After review: no further action, a warning, removal of the content, or suspension of the account under Article 16. The decision is notified to the person concerned with the reasons for it, and may be challenged by replying to contact@asliugc.com.

Screening before publication. Delivered videos and exchanged messages are subject to automated screening before they become visible. A video deemed manifestly contrary to this article may be held back pending human review; a message may be refused when sent — it can then be reworded immediately. This screening does not replace your responsibility for what you publish.

10 ter. Non-circumvention

A brand and a creator who have met on ASLI — through a brief, an application, a message, a request to Talents, a Talent’s offer or the showcase — undertake, for as long as they are registered and for 12 months after their last joint campaign, not to order or produce content with each other outside the platform, whether directly or through an intermediary, and not to offer or accept any payment outside it.

Why. It is the platform that guarantees the creator that they will be paid (Article 7) and the brand that it holds written rights to the videos (Article 11). A direct payment loses both.

Ads from the creator’s account (Spark Ads, Partnership Ads; formerly “publishing on the creator’s account”). When the brand has chosen this option in its brief, the creator publishes the approved video on their own account and gives the brand an ad code (Spark Ads on TikTok, 365-day authorization; Partnership Ads on Instagram). Before sending the code, the creator labels this content as commercial, as required by French Law No. 2023-451 on commercial influence: with the platform’s tool (TikTok: “Disclose commercial content”; Instagram: “Paid partnership” label) and “#pub” (or “#ad” for a caption in English) at the start of the caption. While the ad runs, the brand sees the creator’s account. This visibility does not lift the non-circumvention commitment: any order, content or direct payment between them remains prohibited under the terms of this Article.

In messaging. Personal contact details — telephone number, email address, IBAN, card number, link to an external messaging service — are automatically hidden when sent: the recipient sees “contact details hidden”. Passages that refer to an exchange or a payment outside the platform are flagged to the ASLI team, which alone reviews them. No sanction is imposed by a machine (Privacy Policy, Article 8 bis).

Working directly, with ASLI’s agreement. A brand that wishes to work with a creator outside the platform may request this at contact@asliugc.com. The exit conditions are communicated to it in writing, before any commitment.

In the event of breach. The brand owes ASLI compensation equal to 40% of the sums paid to the creator outside the platform, and at least €1,000 excl. VAT per creator concerned. For a creator as for a brand, the breach may also lead to suspension of the account under Article 16, after human review and reasoned notification, which may be challenged as provided in Article 10 bis.

ASLI Talents. A Talent mission (the brand’s request, the chosen offer and the contract that follows) is covered by this undertaking, during the mission and for 12 months after its last post. A Talent who accepts, outside the platform, an order or a payment from a brand met on ASLI owes ASLI compensation equal to 20% of the price agreed directly, in addition to what the brand owes under the previous paragraph. When the brand has created an ASLI tracked link for the mission, the Talent includes it in their posts for as long as they stay online.

11. Assignment of rights

Upon approval of the video and subject to actual payment by the brand, the creator assigns to the brand, on an exclusive basis and without time limit — that is, for the entire legal term of copyright protection — the economic rights to exploit the video, for the whole world. The brand owes no further royalty and has no expiry date to monitor.

The creator’s image and voice fall under a different regime, and this is deliberate. The right to one’s image is a personality right: it is not assigned, it is authorised, and a perpetual and general authorisation is void. Writing “without limit” here would not give the brand more rights — it would make the clause open to challenge, and would therefore give it fewer. The authorisation is therefore granted for 30 years from approval, for the whole world, tacitly renewable for successive periods of 10 years, unless notice of termination is given 6 months before expiry. In practice: the brand keeps the video forever, and may feature the creator in it for 40 years without doing anything.

The uses are listed, and the list is exhaustive — this is what makes the authorisation valid. It covers: paid advertising on social networks (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn), the organic accounts of the brand and of its approved distributors, its website, its online shop, its product pages, its emailings and notifications, its points of sale, trade fairs and sales presentations, and display and video advertising purchased from third-party ad networks. Any use not on this list requires a separate written agreement from the creator.

Four uses remain excluded in all circumstances, whatever the duration: associating the creator with political, religious or pornographic content, or with tobacco, arms or gambling products; modifying the video to the point of altering the meaning of what they say or harming their honour; assigning or sub-licensing the image authorisation to a third party other than the brand and its approved distributors; training a generative artificial intelligence model on their face or voice.

The remuneration for this assignment is included in the price paid to the creator via ASLI: there is no subsequent royalty. A summary contract, generated automatically, can be downloaded by the brand for each approved video.

The creator retains the right to present the video in their own professional portfolio — website, profile, book — for the purpose of demonstrating their work and without advertising use for a third party. This reservation is written into the assignment contract itself, next to the exclusivity: a contract that asserted exclusivity without mentioning its reservation would say something other than this article.

The brand may request otherwise. This request must be made in writing to legal@asliugc.com before approval; it is then recorded on the campaign, displayed on the brief that creators read before applying, and printed on the contract. It cannot be made after approval: taking away from someone, once the video has been delivered, a right that formed part of what they accepted is not an amendment, it is a change of contract.

11 bis. What we record about language

ASLI records, from delivered videos, language characteristics — pronunciation, rhythm, articulation of sounds, accent — after removing any element that would make it possible to recognise the person’s voice. These records are used to suggest briefs more accurately, to match creators with campaigns, and to check that a video is indeed in the requested dialect. They may be compiled into linguistic datasets.

The original recording is never transmitted to a third party, in any form. What may be transmitted one day are records of which no one — not even ASLI — can say whom they come from.

The legal basis for this processing is ASLI’s legitimate interest in improving a service whose dialectal quality is its very reason for being. It is not consent: the creator has nothing to accept; they have the right to object at any time from their area, in one click, without giving reasons.

Objecting changes nothing else: the same campaigns offered, the same tier, the same remuneration. This absence of consequences is not a commercial promise, it is the condition for the clause’s validity — and it can be verified in the code that calculates tiers and suggests briefs, which does not read this preference.

One limitation, stated here rather than discovered later: a dataset already transmitted to a third party cannot be taken back. An objection stops future records and removes those ASLI still holds.

11 ter. Linguistic improvement of the service

ASLI checks that videos are in the right dialect. So that this check keeps improving, DAR ASLI builds a language corpus: a collection of texts in Maghreb dialects (Algerian, Moroccan and Tunisian darija), in Kabyle and in Arabic, used to measure and improve the quality of the service and its language-checking tools. This corpus is used internally only: no text is ever published, sold or passed on to a third party.

For brands. The text of your briefs — the description and the instructions — may be kept in this corpus, after automatic masking of email addresses, phone numbers, IBANs, links and account handles. Your brand kit, your product link and your contact details never go in. If a brief contains confidential information, tell us by email at donnees@asliugc.com: it is removed. You may object at any time to this use, by email at the same address or with a checkbox in your account area: your briefs are then removed from the corpus and no new one goes in. Objecting changes nothing else: same creators, same prices, same service.

For creators. The text of what is said in your delivered videos — the transcript, never the picture nor the voice — may go into this corpus, without your account name or contact details; emails, phone numbers, links and handles that are spoken are masked automatically. A first name said out loud may remain in the text: on its own it does not identify you, and we remove it on request. This changes nothing in the assignment of rights of article 11: the brand keeps exactly the same rights, and so do you. You may object at any time, with a checkbox in your profile (the same one as for the records of article 11 bis) or by email at donnees@asliugc.com: your transcripts are then removed from the corpus and no new one goes in. When your account is closed, the link between you and these texts is erased for good; on request, the texts themselves are deleted. Objecting changes nothing else: the same campaigns offered, the same tier, the same remuneration.

Legal basis: the legitimate interest of DAR ASLI in improving a service whose dialectal quality is its very reason for being, with a right to object (article 21 GDPR). It is not consent: you have nothing to accept, you have the right to say no. The details — data concerned, retention period, no transfer — are in article 8 quinquies of the privacy policy.

12. Creator warranties

By submitting a video, the creator warrants that they are its author, that they shot it themselves or under their direction, that it is original, that they hold all necessary authorisations — including the image rights of any person appearing on screen — and that the video does not infringe any third-party right, in particular with regard to music and registered trade marks.

They also warrant that the faces and voices seen and heard in it belong to real people, filmed and recorded, and that none has been generated, cloned or replaced by artificial intelligence (article 10).

The creator shall indemnify ASLI and the brand against any third-party claim based on a breach of these warranties.

13. Brand obligations

The brand provides a fair and complete brief, makes the necessary products or access available in good time, and responds to deliveries within a reasonable time. A video left without a response for 7 days is deemed approved, so that silence does not deprive a creator of their remuneration.

This period runs from submission of the video, and it is shown on the campaign next to each pending video. Approving, requesting a revision or reporting a failure stops it: only silence triggers automatic approval. The brand is notified by email on the day it occurs. Tacit approval gives the brand the same rights as manual approval — the video, its assignment contract — and causes it to lose the revision request(s) provided for by its offer.

The brand uses the videos only within the limits of Article 11 — listed uses, excluded uses — and stops featuring the creator in them on expiry of the image authorisation if it has not been renewed. The assignment of copyright, for its part, does not expire.

14. Intellectual property of the platform

The ASLI brand, its visual identity, its texts, its code and its database are protected. No right is granted beyond normal use of the service. Systematic extraction of creator profiles or briefs is prohibited.

15. Liability

ASLI is bound by an obligation of means (best-efforts obligation) as regards the availability of the service and the proper execution of payments. ASLI is not liable for the commercial performance of a video, nor for the content produced by creators, nor for the use the brand makes of it.

In any event, ASLI’s liability in respect of a campaign is capped at the amount actually paid by the brand for that campaign. Indirect damages — loss of turnover, reputation or data — are excluded.

16. Suspension and closure

You may close your account at any time from your account area. Closure is refused while a commitment is ongoing or a sum remains due in either direction: we would rather tell you so than close an account and leave a dispute behind.

If your account is suspended, you may nonetheless request its deletion from the page informing you of the suspension. Ongoing commitments are then not held against you — the suspension froze them, and it is up to us to unwind them. Only pending sums, in either direction, remain, and this is in your interest: deleting an account to which we owe money would make your claim disappear with it.

ASLI may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these terms, after informing the person concerned, except in an emergency or where required by law. Ongoing commitments are then handled in accordance with Articles 8 and 9.

Challenging a decision. Any moderation decision — suspension, warning, removal of content — may be challenged free of charge for six months: from the suspension page for a suspended account, or by email to contact@asliugc.com. The complaint is re-examined by a person, never by automated processing, and receives a reasoned response. This internal remedy does not deprive you of any external remedy.

Statement of reasons. Every decision that takes effect — warning, removal of content, suspension — comes with a statement of reasons: its scope, the facts relied on, whether automated means contributed, the basis (the clause of these terms or the law) and the means of redress. It is emailed to you and remains readable in your account area. The identity of anyone who may have reported you is never disclosed.

After closure, identifying data is erased; accounting records and ongoing assignment contracts are retained within the limits described in the Privacy Policy.

17. Personal data

Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

18. Right of withdrawal

Brands contract in the course of their business: the fourteen-day right of withdrawal provided for by the French Consumer Code does not apply.

A creator who is not acting in a professional capacity and who has this right may exercise it at legal@asliugc.com. Accepting a brief and starting performance before the end of the withdrawal period constitutes a request for immediate performance.

19. Changes to the terms

These terms may be amended. Amendments are presented to the user at their next login and submitted for their acceptance; a user who refuses them may export their data and close their account. Ongoing campaigns and commitments remain governed by the version accepted at the time they were concluded — the rules do not change in the middle of the game.

So that this sentence can be verified and not merely asserted, each version has an identifier — the one in force, 2026-10-26, is shown at the top of this page — and each campaign records, when it is created, the version that governs it. A campaign concluded under an earlier version continues to be judged under that text, including as regards the share paid to the creator, the duration of the assignment and the deadlines. Campaigns created before this recording was introduced carry no version: we say so rather than fill it in after the fact.

20. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek an amicable solution by writing to legal@asliugc.com.
